With experience using BIM on numerous projects, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson (BCJ) needed to develop consistent methods implementing BIM across projects and offices. Working closely with internal BIM specialists, CASE evaluated BCJ’s BIM workflow and project startup process in order to develop firm specific guidelines. CASE authored a comprehensive BIM guide documenting best practices and standards based on industry workflows and the firm’s internal processes. This document has established a standard reference that describes BCJ’s approach to BIM that is available for all offices and project teams via the firmwide intranet, enabling BCJ project teams to implement BIM in a consistent manner.
