Steve speaks at SmartGeometry Alumni Summit 2008
I was invited to tutor and speak during the 2008 SmartGeometry Conference in Munich, Germany. The SmartGeometry Workshop and Conference is the premier event bringing together experts and expertise in computational design and architectural geometry, attracting participants from leading institutions and organizations from around the world.
My presentation during the inaugural Alumni Summit focused on the need for SmartGeometry to be expanded in order to address the pressing challenges of environmental performance and climate change. Specifically, I cited examples of where new techniques and technologies were falling short of their stated ability to deliver meaningful results.
