3DATS just finished production on a new 3ds Max 2010 Advanced to Expert book that promises to be the only publication of its kind.

I served as a technical reviewer for the chapter on the Exposure Lighting Analysis available in 3ds max Design 2009 and 2010. If the lighting analysis chapter is any indicator of the overall depth and quality of the book, then it will definitely be prove to be an invaluable resource for any user of 3ds Max.
