CASE teaches Orchestration workshop at Columbia GSAPP
I taught a workshop at Columbia GSAPP, along with Fed and Josh Emig from SHoP Architects, focused on the use of new technology in the production of full-scale building component systems. The workshop emphasized the use of these tools in order to facilitate better communication and collaboration, rather than the isolated study of technique.
The goal of the workshop was to realign digital fabrication from prototyping to production and simulate a form of digital exchange grounded in practice. Autodesk generously provided software, training, and funding to realize student projects.

Special thanks to Mayola Laser, Island Exterior Fabricators and Front for sharing their knowledge with the students!
