CASE AIANY Tech Lecture now available online

The lecture that we gave over a month ago (wow, that went fast!), is now available online, thanks to the good folks at Bentley. Unfortunately, you also have to register with them to watch the video (they have to get something out of it right?).

CASE speaks at AIANY Tech Series

CASE has been invited to present during the monthly AIANY Tech Lecture series. We're stoked to take part in this consistently impressive series and hope we can live up to everyone's expectations.

I've included the original announcement below:

BLDG 2.0 gets denied by Latrobe jury

Unsurprisingly, BLDG 2.0 didn't make it into the second stage of the AIA's Latrobe Prize competition. :-( Unfortunately, we need a few more grey hairs and martinis with the jurors before we're accepted as members of the club. Nothing like paying your dues.

BLDG 2.0 submitted for 2009 Latrobe Prize

Keeping the momentum going, Nash, Josh and I decided to further refine our BLDG 2.0 concept and submit it for consideration for the 2009 Latrobe Prize. The Latrobe Prize is a biennial competitive grant, awarded by the AIA's College of Fellows to advance professional knowledge in architecture.

Steve speaks on AIAS Panel

In April 2006, I was invited to speak on “New Approaches and Opportunities in the Practice of Architecture" as part of a panel during the AIAS Convergence NYC event. I described the impact that information technologies were having on the profession and how this provided new opportunities for young architects. The discussion, led by Kevin Kennon, was lively and encouraging.
